EPE Joins Amazon’s Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS)

by: EPE USA

EPE USA has officially joined the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS) and will now be offering our packaging design, testing, and manufacturing capabilities to companies and other product manufacturers interested in reducing their e-commerce costs, minimizing Amazon prep chargebacks and improving the overall customer/consumer e-commerce experience.

What is Amazon’s APASS Network?

APASS is an Amazon directed network to help support vendors, sellers, and manufacturers in certifying their product packaging as Frustration-Free Packaging (FFP).  Amazon’s Frustration-Free Program has 3 Tiers of Certification: Frustration-Free Packaging (FFP), Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC), and Prep-Free Packaging (PFP).

Starting August 1st, Amazon will be charging $1.99 per package for vendors who are not compliant with Amazon’s FFP. EPE USA has achieved APASS certification and is now approved to design, test, and supply packaging in accordance with Amazon’s FFP requirements. This allows vendors who are fulfilling through Amazon an opportunity for immediate cost reductions by avoiding chargebacks and better e-commerce experience for their customers.
